Pattern of the month for November 2014- start making for Christmas now! Only 50p for this month only

We thought that this month we would give you the opportunity to start making your Christmas Jackets- this one is especially useful as it is made from a chunky yarn with big needles and so knits up nice and quickly.

Although its shown here on a chap in the original pattern there no doubt that this could be worn by females too- you can keep it in the same lovely neutral colours, but why not think about knitting it in modern bright colours- you could be festive and work it in bright reds and greens, or even go for fabulous bright pinks or lime greens as a background- the trick with the colouring change would be to keep a neutral background to the patterns and then change the pattern- the reindeer etc- to another bright contrasting colour.....purple or turquoise with the pink perhaps and dark green or even purple again with the lime green-the choice is yours.

We have also seen this one knitted up in a chic black as the base colour with cream background and grey patterning- much more subtle for those who perhaps don't want to stand out in the crowd but do still want to be festive and warm......
