Baby Christening Gown & Hat Crochet Pattern

This is a vintage crochet pattern that we have digitialised into a pdf file to help you to make a lovely long lace christening gown with a matching bonnet hat.The pattern uses a 2.5mm hook and so you will need a modern yarn for that size hook- we recommend that you check the yarn ball bands for the manufacturers recommendations. We estimate that a modern 'sport' yarn could work well or a 'baby' yarn or 'fingering'. baby gowns are lovely to make for baby showers, or as a family heirloom and as this also has the matching hat bonnet it has a lovely vintage retro feel to it.
