Vintage Flower Motif Cushion Crochet Pattern

These are very pretty flower cushions- they can be made purely in creams and whites for lovely neutral interiors, or pretty pale pastels colours, or lots of vibrant bright colours to bring a splash of colour to your home. They were originally made in DK yarn but you can use any type of yarn to make these. Just remember though, if your yarn is thicker than DK then your cushions will be bigger than these, and if the yarn is thinner then the cushions will be smaller

The flowers that you make in the centre can also be used individually to make pins, brooches, corsages or to embellish and decorate items for fashion - hats, bags, clothes etc- or around the home- cushions, throws etc.

You could also make lots of these motifs and sew them together to make bigger items such as throws or afgans.
