Vintage Lace Baby Christening Bonnet Tatting Pattern

We were delighted to find this vintage baby bonnet pattern in tatting as we rarely find many vintage tatting patterns at all and this one is so pretty.

This bonnet would look pretty in whites and creams for baptisms and christenings, but could also easily be made in pretty pale pastel colours or bright summer flower colours for a lovely gift or baby shower present. You can leave it lacy as shown, or you can also line it with silk, muslin or georgette to make a pretty undercolour or neutral colour base.
