This is a set of 3 beautiful fair isle knitting patterns which date from the 1940s for childrens berets. They are so pretty and with careful choice of colours you could create some beautiful hats. Try using creams, whites and neutrals, or a range of pastel colours, or bright rainbow colours on a cream or black background. Please note, we do not really recommend this pattern for beginners as you will be 'knitting in the round' as well as multi colour knitting, so we recommend that you have some experience of both of these methods before starting this pattern
