Vintage Knitting pattern-4 baby matinee jackets

This is a vintage knitting pattern which dates from the late 1940s for 4 very pretty baby matinee jackets. They are all lovely, and are nice and different in style, with the centre one having a feather and fan shetland lace stitch. The original pattern used a 3 ply yarn- the modern equivalent would be a 'baby' or 'sport' yarn but please check your tension before starting your project. As always, we give you the modern size equivalent of the vintage size needles required in the writing of the pattern.
