How to knit a classic twinset

This is a vintage knitting pattern which dates form the 1950s for a classic twinset with a short sleeve jumper and matching cardigan. It is made in 2 ply yarn which is quite thin so uses small needles and fits a 33-37 inch bust

The 99p category is for those types of patterns which are fairly plain but classic too. Its a basic scan of the pattern, with none of usual appendixes (eg the translation of old needle sizes to modern, and crochet terms from UK to USA) that we add onto our patterns in the other categories-this is a kind of 'no frills' basic line.
