How to make 1940s lingerie underwear -sewing
This is a diagram sewing pattern which dates from the wartime 1940s for a very sweet item of underwear called camiknickers. This lovely lingerie was made from 1 yard of fabric only, true to the wartime and frugality of the time. This does mean however that they are a small size but if you are an experienced sewer you may be able to add some width when copying the shapes or cutting the fabric. A digram pattern means that we supply a diagram with the shapes and measurements of the pattern pieces which you then measure ut onto paper to make your paper pattern.
