Vintage Sewing Pattern for Sweet Heart, Fan and Bow Shaped Lavender sachets and Garters

This is a little selection of easy to make patterns for sweet vintage goodies which can be made for weddings or just to make you feel good. They are very good to make as gifts or to sell as pretty little items tend to sell well in shops and gift fairs.

The pattterns include 3 little lavender sachets- fan shaped, heart shaped and bow shaped, and 3 pairs of garters- lace covered, net covered and georgette covered.

You can try making them from scraps of lovely left over fabrics such as silks, vintage lace, organzas and also floral printed fabrics, and also embellish them with beads, sequins and crystals to make them really special.

As well as filling the sachets with lavender you could also fill them with dried rosebuds or pot pourri.

Once you understand the process of the lavender bags you should be abe to make them smaller or larger too just by cutting the fabric smaller or larger. You could also sew tiny lavender bags to wedding garters if you make them really small
