How to knit a crib nativity

This is a vintage knitting pattern for a very sweet little Christmas nativity crib set. It features, Mary and Joseph, Baby Jesus, the three Kings, shepherds and cute little sheep. The donkey and cow are portrayed on the background which in fact is knitted to go over a shoe box top. The other part of the shoe box is used to house the little characters when they are not in use, so its a very practical pattern! These little sets and individual characters can sell well near the festive season, and each one could be a cute little tree decoration too- just add a loop or tie at the top
