This is a crochet pattern for a very beautiful and and very old flower and leaf design doily. It is absolutely lovely and you will need to be an experienced crocheter to work this pattern. You will need to understand how to use padding cotton for the flower motifs, and also how to put the motifs together with filling, irish crochet style. Its an intricate design but will be well worth your patience once finished. Try making the flowers and leaves individually for pins, brooches and corsages too.
The instructions were originally in UK crochet terms but we have added a translation to USA crochet terms for our USA users.
