This is a sewing pattern for a very chic 1940s wartime ribbon bow backed hat. The hat is made from very simple shaped pieces and is easy to make from the diagrams shown and instructions given. You will need ribbon and either buckram or a modern stiff fusible interlining and calico to make the base shape. This downloadable version gives you the diagrams and measurements of how to make your own paper pattern to make this hat.
