Vintage 1950s 1960s knitting pattern checker board squares jacket cardigan

This is a lovely retro jacket knitting pattern dating from the 1950s 1960s.

It uses 4 ply yarn and will fit a 34-36 bust as written. Length from shoulder to lower edge is 22 1/4 inches.

Not a lot of sewing together on this one as the front and back are knitted as one piece.

A great jacket for making for period dramas, re-enacters or just a wonderful retro look....think about using pastel colours for a subtle effect as well using bright colours.
