This is a sewing pattern for a very practical and actually quite chic apron made from odds and ends and scraps of fabric dating from the wartime make do and mend 1940s when everything was in short supply. There is a chart/diagram to help you cut out the very simple shaped paper pattern pieces and full instructions of how to put them together. This would be lovely made with vintage print fabrics, or pretty ginghams in different colours....once you have made it once and understand the process you should also be able to adapt it to make matching smaller ones for kiddies in the kitchen. These make great gifts and are good items to sell too.
