This is a very pretty crochet lace edging pattern dating from the 1890s for a very pretty irish crochet rose design trim. It can be made in the original very fine yarn but could also be made in modern thicker yarns to decorate hats, bags and clothing.
The individual roses can also be used on their own for pins, brooches, or again as decorations for accessories
