This is a set of 5 doily patterns which date from the Victorian era and are nearly 150 years old now. they are very beautiful and consist of a lot of crocheted flowers which are then joined together to make the doilies. we think that part of the beauty of these patterns is that you could make the flowers individually and then make them into pins, corsages or brooches, or you could make the complete doilies with a thick yarn which would make them big enough for circular shoulder shawls perhaps.....be warned, these patterns are very old and so therefore not really for the beginner or the faint hearted- we can also provide you with some extra instructions for the odd directions so please do contact us if you need those after purchasing this one
