This is a booklet which originated in the 1940s for 14 pretty designs for crochet lace trimming and edgings. They range from very narrow to nearly 7 inches wide. Trimmings make a beautiful embellishment to hats, bags and clothes as well as being useful for home decor items. We here at Vintage Visage also use these trimmings patterns for the edges of clothes- jumpers and jackets- by making the trims in thicker modern yarns- this makes them bigger and really does ad interest to plain knitted or crocheted items- or even sewn ones!
Vintage visage have added an appendix to this ebooklet when we digitalised it so that you have the charts to understand which modern hooks to use, and also, as it was originally published in UK crochet terms, a translation of crochet terms from UK to USA.
As always, we offer a full email back up service.
