This is a set of 4 knitting patterns which date from the 1930s for little girls dresses, or frocks as we used to call them,aged 4 to 6 years. they are so sweet, and would look so cute made up today in modern yarns and colours. As they were made to be worn quite short in those days (see the photo) you could also make these for younger children as today the fashion can be to wear them quite long, especially if they are for bridesmaids or party dresses...imagine them in soft cotton yarns or silks.....
